All the spin that I'm hearing now is aimed at the people who are still working and/or still making decent money. New fears about how it it make the economy even worse and that by getting people back to work it will put their jobs and incomes in jeopardy and they will have to pay for it, yadda, yadda...and it's working to their advantage.

Plus I know too many of my own fellow democrats who will shit on the rest of us if it means job security and health benefits for themselves. We're all fucked if you know what I mean.

It's nice you get the local offices if you can't get through in D.C., and you can email at the same time. And if you want a local zip code it's right there too.

So why would it be any different now. All I got for my calls and emails and the emails have drop down lists of only certain issues. What I got was emails asking for donations. Only Boxer replied , Feinstein never did.

I really don't feel just because Obama is in that the senators grew a back bone , many are the same people still.

I am not here to discourage anyone from contacting their reps if they feel it will do any good.

I want the tax breaks taken away from the corporations but that won't happen. I want churches taxed , the ones that are not really helping people. There are many people left out of this stimulus package who need help and that is an issue.
