but...as a student of history and an individual who is capable of appraising presidents of both parties for their accomplishments, I think Bush will go down as a man who finally managed to destroy American influence and prestige in the world. When we withdraw from Iraq (and yes, that's a when), it will be Bush's defeat. We will no longer be the superpower we once were. It'll be kind of like the USSR in 1990-91.
