The Powers-That-Be Are Scared Sh*tless Over Obama

It's becoming quite clear that the power brokers in this country are scared shitless over what Obama is doing, what he intends to do and what it all means to them. Not only is the giggling gravy train over for these MFers, but some of them are going to be getting a bill for their ill-gotten gains.

The push back is just starting, and it will only get worse with every success or semi-success Obama racks up.

We need to stay vigilant and to vocally support our new president.

BTW - I was grabbing a chicken wrap at a local McDs yesterday when some older lady started commenting on Obama, who was on the CNN signing the kid's expanded health care bill. She looked my way, so I gave her the thumbs up and said, "I LOVE Obama!" That took her aback, but she continued to mumble under her breath about him ("he wants more taxes...who's gonna have to pay those taxes? People don't have health care? Did you have health care when your were a kid?") As I was leaving, her husband dropped his cane which was balancing on their table. I bent over to pick it up. "You don't need to bother." she said. "No, I do need to bother," said I, "we all need to help each other."

Then, I left.

I know some people swear up and down Obama is a corporate shill and is completely controlled by special interests masters, who all fully support and are behind everything he is doing...

But I'm just not seeing it. I think his efforts on the massive progressive spending bill have been sneaky, tactical and awesome - he's going to get one of the most radical spending bills of my life time passed, nearly all of which is aimed at people just like me, and he's going to do it while smelling like a rose and making Republicans look like spoiled sports and out of touch clowns.

I could be wrong.... but we'll see.
