Why Don't They Seem to Care that they are Despised?
Edited on Thu Feb-05-09 06:00 PM by Mike 03
I thought politicians were supposed to worry when they received a lot of negative mail telling them that we disapprove and have enormous contempt for them for opposing the visionary legislation of our new President.

One of my senators is McCain, who you would think would have a huge incentive to cooperate with President Obama. He is coming up for re-election in a couple years, in a state where more than fifty percent of the voters are so young or have moved here from other states that they will not even recognize his name, know who the hell he is, or will have formed a negative opinion about him as a result of the shameful campaign he ran against our President.

Then we have Jon Kyl, who doesn't do anything but sit around in Phoenix with his thumb up his ass, and we only see him or hear from him when he is running for re-election.

And if any of you have been watching the repukes lecture us on CSPAN about how bad the stimulus plan is, you have seen with your own eyes that:

These people are DISGRACEFUL.

Mitch McConnell? DISGRACEFUL.

We need to make a list of senators and perhaps congresspeople to write to/call and fax.

I thought I was a cool-headed person, in general, but lately I am feeling such anger for these sad ass, jackass morons who claim to be pro-American, pro-job, patriotic, who are fighting against the stimulus package that Nobel Laureates and hundreds of well educated economists say is imminently necessary and crucial to the very survival of our nation and way of life.

2. Corporate politicians have likely been 'bribed' with golden parachutes by big buisiness
for their retirements.

5. it's a kind of power
Just like Limbaugh gets off on watching people flip out over the insane crap he spouts. He says a few words and can sit back and watch us splutter in frustration.

Luckily, voters really do have the ultimate power over them (voting machines notwithstanding) and they're going to have to knock this crap off if they don't want to get blamed for stalemates in Washington.
