Netflix CEO: Please raise my taxes
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/06/opinion/06hastings.html

"President Obama should celebrate our success, rather than trying to shame us or cap our pay. But he should also take half of our huge earnings in taxes, instead of the current one-third."

I agree, but he used the article to also whine about capping salaries for TARP companies. It doesn't apply to Netflix, they actually are making money.

2. Netflix presents a conundrum, they suck less than most huge corporations
but Blockbuster has much better service.

:dilemma:

3. Screw Blockbuster.
They've ripped me off more than one time, by claiming I didn't get my movie returned in time - when I had. They just sat on it. Fuckers.

5. Sorry, I should have been more specific, I've had both and Blockbuster online
is far superior to Netflix. I can exchange movies in a store, so the whole throttling strategy that Netflix uses is impossible.

OTOH, Blockbuster supports the republiks, OTOOH, so does the CEO of Netflix.

6. I think Redbox is going to kill Blockbuster
$1 movies and many times they are even free. The ability to reserve your movie from your home computer.

7. For every CEO who says rich people don't pay enough taxes, how many more say they do???
Is it like a 3 to 1 ratio against raising taxes on the rich?

8. I love netflix.
But if the CEO wants to pay more taxes all he has to do is send a check to the IRS payable to the general fund.
