Oh great! Sarah named Bristol after a town in Connecticut! Another "dubious achievement award"
for the Nutmeg State. First, W's birthplace (in my own city of New Haven!) and now this!

Here's the link to the AP story: http://www.nhregister.com/articles/2009/02/06/news/a1-palin.txt

So little miss sarah thought she could be a sportscaster at ESPN, located in tiny little Bristol, CT. Hah!

6. YES! So this confirms that she really was obsessed with becoming
Edited on Fri Feb-06-09 09:28 AM by bullwinkle428
an ESPN anchor!

I'll theorize that she had deep, dark dreams about replacing Dan Patrick and becoming Keith Olbermann's co-anchor back in the days of the "The Big Show"!

8. Especially since Bristol, CT is not exactly an urban epicenter ...
It's in probably the worst off part of the state, the rust belt area toward the northeast. No glitzy Greenwich, serene Litchfield, historic shoreline or cultural center like New Haven.

7. Funny, but...
Back in August, they were claiming the kid was named after http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/republican_race/2008/08/30/2008-08-30_whats_in_the_palin_childrens_names_fish_.html">Bristol Bay, where the family fishes. Something tells me she's more interested in a job as an ESPN anchor than she is in the Presidency.

14. Yea, I think she said that Bristol was named for Bristol Bay
This is definitely not the first inconsistency in Sarah's statements about herself. She rewrites her story constantly.
