What all but 5 Republicans support

Thirty-six out of 41 Republican Senators voted for the proposed DeMint amendment to the stimulus bill — a massive package of permanent tax cuts that would create a huge hole in the budget, while doing very little to help the economy.

There isn’t much room for bipartisanship when 87.8% of the other party is totally irresponsible.

11. Naaah. Krugman was grandfathered in. No room for people like him in the Bushified M$M.
If he had come up today, he'd be shut out and sileneced, relegated to the blogs.

Brave New World, ain't it?

We need to keep reaching out! Just because we "won" doesn't mean we should force our agenda on the rest of the country that voted against us!

Post-partisanship!

Unity!

7. Exactly. We're Democrats. We win Graciously.
Which means we happily give away the agenda to our opponents to make sure they feel involved. We treat them as if they're still the majority so that they still fill necessary. God Forbid they find out what it's like to be a minority party! x(
