I noticed $51 credited to my Bank of America credit card , from " GOV T EMPLOYEESWASHINGTON"
That's weird ...is the Federal Gov doing that now, I found nothing on the news about this . I work in the private sector.

Maybe I should call my bank to check if this was a mistake before the Feds come knocking at the door

6. They're Actually Not Related to the Government
but their original market was insuring government employees, who they found to be better insurance risks. GEICO was so successful serving government workers that they branched out to all customers.

Had them for a while when I was in the military, you could find a GEICO office just outside any military base.
