I know there's tons of doom and gloom threads on the economy right now, but I just wanted to let y'all know something.

I got a JOB!!!

I am due to be laid off on Feb 11th (might actually get let go today).

I found out 60 Days ago and started my job search then, altho not much actually happened until the first weeks of Jan.

Went on 2 or 3 interviews, and got a new job starting on the 16th, with a great company with good benefits and a higher salary then I am making now.


Oh and I found it on the craigslist.

Don't let anybody beat you down. Don't let the media shadow your perception, and just keep truckin'.

I found a quarter on the sidewalk this morning. Turned out to be a Mexican peso.

I was only trying to be whimsical in a good-natured way. I thought about checking it but...wait a sec. Here goes...

Okay. A Mexican peso is worth about $.07 USD.
