I guess anything is better than nothing and a lot can be made up when Obama presents his first Budget..

11. Why
Democrats shouldnt give an inch to the republicans. Their ideas let alone their intentions are useless and unbeneficial in the short or long run. This "compromise" probably includes a cut on the education portion of the bill, healthcare( probably completely removing health information technology measures) and massive cuts on the energy proposal.
Not to mention more tax cuts!!!
And its also likely that no republicans would vote for it anyways. Maybe they wont filibuster, and whithout taking any risks, have their ideas passed.
