Today I PISSED off a right winger by saying...
...absolutely NOTHING!

Please allow me to explain. This afternoon I was in my local Hannaford Supermarket on the way home from work. I was walking down the dairy aisle to get some pizza cheese for tonight's dinner. On the other side of the aisle is the book & magazine section. As I was approaching the magazine section, a guy in front of me turned to his wife and, in a volume of voice that left no doubt that he wanted to be heard, said "can you believe this SHIT? I don't want to look at HIM all over the place"!

I, having had no intention of even looking at the magazines, looked over and saw that there were several Obama inauguration commemoratives. And so I went over and picked one up, started to leaf through it and planted a huge shit-eating grin across my face.

He moved a few feet down the aisle and I saw him inclining his empty little head toward me to his wife a couple of times looking very pissed off.

The topper of this was that he then picked up a book and told his wife he was going to buy it. She said that he could get everything in that book on the "Internets". He responded "but honey, this has ALL of the pro-wrestlers in it"!

I was able to (barely) contain my laughter.

PEACE!

8. If I'd done that...
...it would have led to an exchange, both of us would've been pissed, it would have caused a scene and he'd more than likely be over at free republic saying how he'd shon up a liberal.

This way, HE was the one stewing in his juices and had to suck it up.

My father always taught me that it was best for the OTHER guy to be steaming.

3. Hey I like the pro-wrestlers too.
And Pres. Obama had a very good segment on WWE's "Smackdown the Vote" special. He spoofed pro-wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson very well.

9. Sometimes wrestling can be fun...
...but if you know that it's a show.

I had the impression that this guy was one of those who thought that it was actually a real sport without scripts.

4. My favorite response to these morons
is: "So how's that trickle down working for you?" I say it often to guys I know who spew this nonsense yet are struggling.

I see those folks everyday. They are so deep in the grip the Rush Limbuagh's they are unable to see reality.

13. I love the fact that the republican party is now led by...
...rush limpballs, Sarah Palin(comparison) and Joe the Dumber.

And yet (too) many still take them seriously.

12. similar coincidence today

The guy ahead of me at the checkout walked over to the magazines and chuckled to his wife
that "Us" magazine had placed an Obama family portrait on the cover, but covered up Barack
completely with a photo of Jessica Simpson (if I recall).

14. Unlike the bush family,...
...Americans actually seem to like the Obama family. Perhaps because the genuine love for each other in the Obamas is evident to people as it wasn't with the moron's family.

They better get used to seeing this family A LOT over the next 4 (likely 8) years!

Peace!

other than Bush himself of course. I guess their ignorance is spreading amongst them.

I love grocery store encounters. Grocery stores and gas station pumps always yield the best stories.
