How much do you want to bet there will be Stimulus 2.0?

After Reid's latest cave, pretty much all the high bang-for-the-buck stuff like food stamps and education spending have been axed.

We're gonna get a watered down, inadequate, piddly-assed stimulus package that every economist worth his salt says won't be enough.

How much do you want to bet that President Obama and Congress will be at it again in a few months, doing a second big stimulus bill? If enough people in the Beltway give a shit about the country, they're gonna have to.

Think there will be any way to get this sort of thing through the Rethug roadblocks?

1. Obama had already said that a few weeks ago even before the cuts.

2. we need to take out all the reTHUGlickan BS. Re-Write the bill with only Job Creating infrastructure...

and public works in it; then have O get on the tube and ask the people to call their representative and demand an up or down vote.

MAke the Thuglickens stand up and vote to kill American JOBS bill.

I think that has been pretty much known even before Obama was sworn in.

4. I expect that there will be another stimulus bill in late summer to supplement

the first one... after Pres. Obama has asked for infrastructure projects and numbers to complete the projects.. Also, don't forget, the regular budget has not gone thru yet. Most people don't pay attention to the regular budget stuff... that's where they'll put in a lot of the education stuff and health stuff and pork stuff in the regular spending bill when no one is looking or paying attention. This bill is being politicized by pukes in order to set the tone for the next 4yrs. I'm really surprised not to see Pres. Obama really work to sell this bill with the voters.

7. I disagree. Most of the 'bang for the buck" stuff remains

with the exception of the schools infrastructure best I can tell. It's also still going to have to go through conference committee and another vote before we see what is "final."

8. He should veto this if he doesn't like it. Tell them what you want and nothing more.

Obama knows what needs to be done and he needs to tell congress.
