The Rethugs have been using framing and other psychological techniques for years to hoodwink us - Remember the Willie Horton ads? The Obama/Osama conflation? Tape loops of Rev. Wright screaming "GOD DAMN AMERICA!"

Well, here's a frame for you.

Don't think Reaganomics or supply-side economics is anything new. It was around loooong before Reagan. I was listening to Thom Hartmann, and he found that back during the Great Depression, they had another name: Horse and Sparrow Economics.

What they mean is when you feed all the oats to the horse, what comes out of the horse's rear end feeds the sparrows.

See, it's one thing to call Bushonomics shitty, it's another thing to describe it with a shit metaphor - that gives you more mileage.
