3. This is almost comical. But I'm not laughing. Now they care?
And they created the biggest debt while in a Bush Conga line.

Lindsay Graham. They ought to pay us to listen to him whine. It's painful.

and during that time the Republicans have looted the public treasury countless times. It is physically painful to watch. When Bush II was running, I actually felt the pain of what I knew was to come in the even the Republicans stole the election (I knew they would do it) and goddamn if they did just that.

They've stolen my future as well as my child's future and my grandchildren's and great grandchildren's future. There is no punishiment in the Universe that is tough enough to make that right. If I'm wrong and there is, I want it now, while we have a benevolent President.

BTW, have you seen the shit in WaPo about the networks complaining that President Obama is costing them millions with his "speeches" on the stimulus. Motherfuckers never complained ONCE whenever Bush wanted to pollute the airwaves with his lying nonsense. I'm going to have to call "racism" on this one, because they wouldn't dare spew this shit if an old, ugly white guy were President. Yet one more thing to contribute to my bleeding ulcer. I'll be dead by 50 if karma doesn't kick in soon.

12. My Favorite Spin..."They Weren't Real CONservatives"...
The game I hear a bunch of these right wing thugs these days is to claim that they NEVER supported the booooshie spending. It's bullshit as there wasn't a spending bill or suplemental boooshie sent through from 2001-2006 that didn't breeze through. Their bullshit at that time was they were doing this for "national security"...typical double-speak that always allows them an "out" when it comes to assuming responsibility.

Now if President Obama had come with a package that threw 90% of the spending on defense contractors, you'd see these same shitstains saying he wasn't going far enough.

For years these oxygen thieves have distorted the real Raygun record and now are hellbent on doing the same for the past 8 years. They've bet on Americans as being stupid and short sighted...and it's paid off for them in the past. They think they can do it again.

13. Just the standard template of authoritarian rulers' manipulating authoritarian followers.
Edited on Sat Feb-07-09 08:10 AM by tom_paine
Of COURSE it doesn't make sense, any more than the projecting calmunies from the Nazis towards the Jews made sense.

Authoritarian followers FOLLOW. That's what they do, and if the leader says it, it matter not what was said before. It doesn't have to make sense.

And, the fact that Bushie or Commie or Nazi or any kind of authoritarian propaganda has another positive side effect for tyrants, it is so audacious in it's madness, it leaves people stunned and shocked and tongue-tied by it's audacious lunacy and shameless lying twisting of ironclad facts.

It works. Over and over again it works. Sometimes I think that someday it might stop working, then I remember that Hitler would have lived to a ripe old age if he kept it all internal to his nation and just made a couple minor proxy wars against weak foes.

I also remember that American advertising, now swollen with the power of generation of scientific progress in the field of psychology, has never for one second stopped working overall, though various products wax and wane in popularity in variation, the cornerstone of the human condition.

Sure it doesn't make sense, but it doesn't have to. And those few of us who can see are, even NOW mostly as disdained as those who saw the truth about Hitler in the late 20s. Reviled. Dismissed. Fringe Crazy.

Read this, and understand what we face...
