http://senate.gov/

I'm starting with Lindsay, then Vitter, then moving on to remind McCain WHY he lost the election, then Kyl, then Thune.

Anyone with me?

6. One thing I do is look up the address of the local university and use that.
They are probably more apt to listen to their constituents.

Altho in the case of McCain and Kyl, I am their constituent

7. I know... I should do that...
the link I've been using provides phone numbers and addy's for their local and D.C. offices. It's easy enough for me to do, but tonight I just let it rip. I try to be polite, and not use the abusive language they do, but it's hard.

3. Will you mention Sarah?
Edited on Fri Feb-06-09 08:49 PM by madeline_con
I think she played a key role in McCain's loss. Even Repukes weren't dumb enough to fall for her!

9. All I am doing is reminding them that Obama offered them all the opportunity to come in and discuss
this bill with him, but instead of acting like an adult, they chose to stand on the Senate floor and whine.

And then I urge them to vote for the Jobs and Economic Recovery Bill - which is the real name of the bill.

I wanted to start a thread regarding this, but lost my password and had to make a new name for election night. Now I don't have enough post to start a thread.

Is it just me or is everyone getting complacent about the stimulus bill and our agenda as a whole? It appears to me that since the election is over, people are thinking the fight is over. While it is ok to be happy about winning the election, that is not enough. We need to crush these scumbags (repugs and freepers) while they are down and not let up.

If you take a look at FR and here, it is night and day. They are swamping the offices with emails, faxes, and phone calls right now and this is the only thread mentioning emailing the officials. Lets not let these scumbags up off the matt, we need to finish them off.

If you watch FR, they can't even get through their freekathon. Jim Rob is so desperate he is posting frequently this week to rally the troops and get his donations to line his pocket.

Don't underestimate these pigs. To them the world is coming to an end and they do not have anything to lose. We need to work just as hard at squashing them, as we did to elect Obama. Lets get to work and get this stimulus bill and our agenda pushed through. Please email your elected official even if they are not going to vote for it. At least let them know that we wont tolerate obstructionism.

PS. If anyone feels like I do and wants to start a similar thread. Pls do so since I can't.
