The Governator declared today effing "Raygun Day"?
Edited on Fri Feb-06-09 10:32 PM by IDemo
“Both of these roles saw him come to office in times of great adversity, but his leadership left our state
and nation better and safer places than they were before,”
Schwarzenegger said. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29057397/

The roots of the crisis being addressed by today's activities in Congress can be largely traced back to the reign of the Gipper.
Bonzo had more economic sense than Ronnie.

The furloughed state workers should "Get Up Stand Up" in honor of the day.

4. Considering that Reagan started this mess, and on a day that
many CA state workers were furloughed, it seems appropriate. But not for the reason the Gropenator states; in fact, the exact opposite. Maybe we should name Wall Street 'Reagan Alley'.

6. Even though he's dead...

I still hate Reagan as much as I did in '68 - with the power of a thousand white hot suns which will burn forever. The path he started this country down has been nothing short of a national tragedy, 30 years of wasted time, money, energy, and lives waiting for the country to grow up and face it's place in the world.

Yeah, I know. Grudge issues...

7. Arnie left his mind in LaLa land. Reagan's criminal dealings in Iran and
Afghanistan allowed Pakistan to obtain atomic mushrooms and thus spread around the world. We're living with Reagan's legacy of reckless law breaking and coverups and privatizations: bankrupt bully empire on the skids torturing people and making enemies at a furious clip.

8. I'm certain most historians, esp. Africainsts, Latin Americanists, and Middle Easterners,
would agree:
that FUCKER! that FUCKER! that FUCKER! that FUCKER! that FUCKER!
Reagan oversaw, like, 1 million dead, and gave us a poisonous secret government run by 'roided-up mercs from Israel to Angola, who used Central America as a dry run for Iraq, and who gave us bin Laden
