Reactionary resistance !
All laws and movements are in reaction to what someone else has done ! Why not stop everything now and use all the resources of NASA and Space exploration and any other science to solve the energy problem. The USA is not willing to sacrifice the environment to become producers. So why not make the USA the worlds source for clean energy production. Shut down particle accelerators and radio telescopes and other research except medicine and medical and develop clean energy. The USA could trade energy science for goods and services. Free energy here would put the USA at the fore front of a New World Order. Instead of taking cheap shots , be the first to do something about energy. Or not...

1. Nigeria is already in the lead.
Without NASA.

2. What I just read about Nigeria
was that they are developing their infrastructure to utilize their huge resource of natural gas. I was talking more about developing new energy and cleaning up what already exist with the fervor of a New Frontier.

3. They mostly use solar
and unique methods of water retrieval. So much of the country is remote. Solar is one of the few options they have.

4. Solar and wind are okay.
But they are existing technologies that have been advanced for profit motives. I have and extensive background in propellers and still can't find a logical answer as to why there are only three blades on the wind turbines other than to sell more turbines to get the same amount of power. The solar panels cover a lot of earth and prevent water from rain to get absorbed into the land. Large arrays of panels will require huge retention ponds to prevent flooding. The aquifers under the panels will also be affected. I would like to see our science being used for pure research to benefit the Planet to solve the energy problem. T. Boone Pickens donated $165 million to Oklahoma State for its sports program, not the science program. Does he think the turbines represent the highest technology available.
