Mt Redoubt volcano - Alaska. Steam plume spotted

Seismic activity remains elevated and consists of tremor fluctuating in amplitude. The webcam shows a steam plume.

Field crews will be attempting to make observations and measure gas emissions at the volcano today.

The volcano has not erupted and AVO continues to watch the volcano 24/7.

1. This silly volcano

has had us sitting on the edges of our seats for weeks now. The first thing I check every morning is the AVO website.

Now would be a fun time for it to go off because it's clear and I could get some good pictures. :)

I'm using Mt. Redoubt for my new business cards. This will fold in the middle and have my info inside.
