For our English DUers
I haven't seen such great headlines on your sports pages in eons.
I was there for all four days. Payback is sweet.

1. Wha...? I love the BBC. I used to check their site a couple of times a day
from work, in 2001. Once in a while the top headline would be something like "Brighton destroys Leeds!" I would gasp that the staid English in cities would attack other cities. How barbaric! But it was always about soccer in the end.

2. This one is about cricket

My team routed them in the upset of the ages. Their third lowest total(51 all out) since 1887. We also gave them their second lowest score back in 1994. Hubby's still laughing.

Enjoy this mild attack. The Guardian is even better. BBC is hilarious.

5. It was painful and embarassing to watch...it didn't help that you guys played really well...
...I am not going to take anything away from a splendid performance by the Windies...England were at their pathetic worst...I have seen some lacklustre England cricket in my time, but this performance took the cake...

To say that the ECB is in a bit of a shambles at the moment would be an understatement..The England bowlers (eventually) got stuck in and kept the 1st innings total reasonable (although Monty as far too expensive again), but the batting was simply dreadful...Only one player in double digits? Madness...

I predict wholesale changes before the start of next Friday's 2nd Test...Oh, and the Aussies must be giggling like idiots..

6. Well we're savouring the payback
but we remember that we also won the 1st one in RSA and then lost the series.
To say we are in shock is an understatement. Thanks Jerome!!
