You CANNOT bankrupt a country and not expect to pay for it in the form of taxes
You just simply can't.
You have already enjoyed the ride when the account was in overdraft status and the tax cuts were handed out like condoms on a street full of hookers; but the bill is now DUE AND PAYABLE.
Why is this so hard to understand?

1. An understanding of this principal would
mean that Republicans are only a topic in the history books.

2. Sure you can. Countries have done it for 1000s of years...
Good policy? Of course not.
Possible? Yes.

3. Because the Republicans insist there is more to steal from us
They all should have gone into hiding when Bush left the office he wasn't elected to. Instead, we were told to embrace them.

I have problems with taking orders on faith.

4. They understand all too well.
Manifest Destiny is still alive and well. As long as there is a single drop of oil or another poor person to work for chicken feed nothing will change their minds. As long as enough of us buy the fiction that nothing can be done for the evils in the world nothing will be done. Even were the poor to rise against their masters there are plenty of other poor people to protect them. They will do anything to hold their lofty positions even if they have to pay half of us to kill the other half. Just look at all of the poor people who vote republican.

Welcome to class warfare, we want them to just start playing fair, they want us to die.

5. A case of
The haves, and the have nots, and as bush said the haves more! The more money you can get the more power you have, the more power the more damage you can do to the rest of the world in oder to make more money so you can get more power! Bush increased the income of the rich at the expense of the poor, and the down fall of not only our own economy, but the worlds!

6. Our president said it best ...
"... we have duties to ourselves, our nation and the world, duties that we do not grudgingly accept but rather seize gladly, firm in the knowledge that there is nothing so satisfying to the spirit, so defining of our character than giving our all to a difficult task.

This is the price and the promise of citizenship."

8. We all are going to pay for it with the most insidious tax ever created.
Hyperinflation.
