The Steve Irwin just made Fox news....
Where they presented a 10 second clip of them ramming the Japanese and reported the crew of the Steve Irwin "Threw bottles of acid but nobody was reported injured on the Japanese ship"...

Tonight has been something...Fox is on behind me because I watched a sports event earlier. Their news is like falling through the looking glass...

1. It's Butyric acid
essentially rancid butter, a stink bomb.

That being said, after watching Whale Wars, those people should be kept far far away from ships. I'd never imagined a crew so be so miserably bad at operating a ship and not have it sink within a week.

4. Their leadership is also not so great either, it seems
I mean, alienating everybody and treating *volunteers* like their disposable is not the best way to get good performance out of people.

3. Wish they'd sink a whaler...
...perhaps then there would be an actual discussion of whale "research". And I've worked the boats and have a terror of sinking into an icy sea. And when it sank I would pray for the rescue of all on board. And I worked at jobs that I despised but was forced to do to support my family...

But I wish they'd sink a whaler...

5. Why?
Steve was a big supporter of Sea Shepherds, and Terry requested that the ship be named after him.

Don't eat the fox droppings

6. I do too. If they're going to use this ship to go around trying to IMPALE whaling ships,
it would perhaps be more appropriate to call it the "Sting Ray" rather than the "Steve Irwin."
