CIA has launched a vast spying operation in the UK to prevent a repeat of the 9/11 attacks
SNIP:

A British intelligence source revealed that a staggering four out of 10 CIA operations designed to thwart direct attacks on the US are now conducted against targets in Britain.

And a former CIA officer who has advised Mr Obama told The Sunday Telegraph that the CIA has stepped up its efforts in the last month after the Mumbai massacre laid bare the threat from Lashkar-e-Taiba, the militant group behind the attacks, which has an extensive web of supporters in the UK.

The CIA has already spent 18 months developing a network of agents in Britain to combat al-Qaeda, unprecedented in size within the borders of such a close ally, according to intelligence sources in both London and Washington.

Bruce Riedel, a former CIA officer who has advised Mr Obama, told The Sunday Telegraph: "The British Pakistani community is recognised as probably al-Qaeda's best mechanism for launching an attack against North America.

Whistleblower: U.S. Snooped on Tony Blair, Iraqi President

SNIP:
A former communications intercept operator says U.S. intelligence snooped on the private lives of two of America's most important allies in fighting al Qaeda: British Prime Minister Tony Blair and Iraq's first interim president, Ghazi al-Yawer.

I guess they'd catch more Al Qaeda terrorists if they concentrated on Blair and his fantasy factory personal connections.

1. There is no credible threat to the U.S.
But then, I don't buy the official 9/11 one, either.

2. Fantasy games. Cheney creates Al Qaeda and now "out of office" Al Qaeda is
still used as his Fantasy terrorist group out to do harm to one and all. Fear, fear, fear!!!
No wonder he still resides in Washington DC.
Like a conductor of a symphony.
He's got all his players lined up.
He even is gonna announced the song that will be played.

3. "The CIA has already spent 18 months developing a network of agents in Britain".
It works both ways - these agents can be used to prevent an attack...
or to facilitate a LIHOP or MIHOP situation.

I hope Obama's people are on the ball to root out any neocon moles in the CIA.

7. The Russians permitted the FBI to set up an office in Moscow because....
because Bob Hanssen (FBI/KGB) and Aldrich Ames (CIA/KGB/Mossad) had already destroyed all the relevant Al Qaeda/Putin/Bush1 & 2/Netanyahu/Blair-Brown sources...
