I watched Thomas Ricks on MTP with Gregory and thought he sounded like a Neo-Con...Need Help!

Here's a You Tube of the interview. I need some help figuring out where he's coming from with his new book and this interview with "Dances with Rove" Gregory.

Any DU'ers whove read Franks books can help me with this?

What I heard was that we will be in Iraq forever...but we will pull out of Afghanistan. That Obama is very innocent if he thinks we can pull troops out of Iraq anytime soon. That the new area of target will be Pakistan and Iran....

I really didn't feel comfortable with this interview and yet I know that Ricks was seen favorably by those of us who were Anti-Iraq Invastion-US Imperialism.

Anyone care to comment? :shrug:

1. I thought the Iraqi government said we HAVE TO leave in a year.

But, I guess it doesn't really matter what they think. It's not like it's their country.


I hope Ricks is wrong.
