Kissinger honored with "peace" award
At the 45th Munich Security Conference

"On Saturday evening, the newly-established Ewald von Kleist Award of the Munich Security Conference was presented to former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger by conference host Wolfgang Ischinger and the namesake of the new peace award, Ewald-Heinrich von Kleist, for the first time. The award is intended to honor those who have made a significant contribution to global peace and conflict resolution.

By presenting the Ewald von Kleist Award to Henry Kissinger, the 45th Munich Security Conference paid tribute to the American’s long-standing services to global peace policy. Bavarian Minister-President Seehofer emphasized Kissinger’s “ethics of practical action guided by realpolitik” in a welcome address given during a gala dinner held at the Munich Royal Residence. He had always been guided by the principle of “responsible ethics before ideological ethics,” the Minister-President said. He also called host Ischinger an “exceptional diplomat”, who made a significant contribution to foreign and security policy as an “ambassador of peace, freedom and security”."

I got no comment. None. Whatsoever. Not a snort or a snicker. Nothing.

5. Actually, now that I think about it, does the word "peace" in the award come with quotes?
In that case, it makes sense to give Kissinger a "peace" award.

14. Well, I say that the 45th Munich Security Conference is a terrorist
organization who harbors and bestows awards on terrorists.

Between Kissinger and the Bushs** Gang the words peace, liberty and freedom have been bastardized beyond recognition.
