Remember when this headline would have read: Afghanistan blast kills 2 "coalition" soldiers?

Now it says 2 US soldiers. I remember reading these stories a while back and wondering gee, I wonder what country they were from? I first noticed this on the cable news channels yesterday. They kept running a banner saying two US soldiers killed in Afghanistan. Before the election that banner would have said two coalition soldiers killed in Afghanistan. If they had reported it at all?

Two Afghans also died when a roadside bomb went off in an opium-rich region. NATO vowed antidrug action.

KABUL, Afghanistan - Two U.S. soldiers died in Afghanistan yesterday when a roadside bomb they were trying to defuse exploded, the U.S. military said. The blast also killed an Afghan interpreter and a police officer.

The bomb was discovered by a group of U.S. soldiers and Afghan officials traveling through the southern province of Helmand, a Taliban stronghold that leads the world in producing opium poppies, said Kamal Uddin, Helmand's deputy provincial police chief.

Also yesterday, NATO's commander said operations to attack druglords and labs in Afghanistan would begin within several days to strike at a key income source for the Taliban.

Watch, they will mark the dead on Obama's watch but they never counted while * was the murderer in chief. And the Gitmo prisoners are starving themselves since Obama came on board, unless you read the old news that tells us that this has been going on for years.

will make the news again as well. I don't expect to see the media using dead bodies to advocate reducing our footprint on the Middle-east, but perhaps they can be used to make the case for more Defense spending.
