How Drugs Can Win Afghanistan

I have heard this argument before, that if we buy up the drugs from the local farmers they will like us a lot more, and we might even save money too. What are the downsides here? I guess some people might be mad about buying drugs, but is there anything els? This is the story that put the seed in my head.

1. Yes, to make sure that pressure is not put on the farmers from those wanting

the drugs. If there is more reward for growing food, then maybe. I heard a thing on maybe mpr about how the farmers fear for their lives if they do not grow poppies.

3. They do both, well actually no one grows hash it is made but Afghanistan makes some of the best Hash

I can remember back in the 70s when I was in Germany I saw a lot of Hash and the best came from Afghanistan. It was rated right up there with Chinese Hash, both black and oily, Next was Lebanese Red and then Lebanese Blonde, then Lebanese green, and the poorest quality was German green. Haven't seen any of that stuff for almost forty years.
