2. She has a lot of poor folk to represent in Maine
so I'm really surprised she is not supporting her hurting constituency by supporting the full stimulus package.

5. If the Jobs Bill was up for a vote prior to November 2008, I bet
she would have supported it in its entirety and built an ad campaign around the fact. Now, after her comfortable victory over Tom Allen, she feels all too safe in her position and is probably betting Mainers will have long forgotten about her meddling come the next election cycle. She must believe she will be able to crank up her little "our Senator" bullshit and once again convince everybody she's some kind of moderate who cares for the people. I have to admit, she's good at selling that lie to almost 60% of the population here.

4. There is something with that voice!
I haven't been able to tell exactly what it is about her voice and speech that sends me through the roof. To me, it's more that she sounds like she's trying to "baby-talk".

But I can't listen to her for more than a minute without screaming at the television.

7. I have a close friend who has overcome a speech impediment. I don't find your comments funny ...
or the least bit thoughtful.

Some people have INBORN speech patterns and they should NOT be used for humor - it's not their fault.

9. Like Condi Rice, she always sounds as if she's on the verge of bursting into tears.
She has a very weak, quavering voice. I suppose she can't help it, but I admit it bugs me.
