Hutcheson states that she doesn't want taxpayers in her state subsidizing
other states. :WTF:

Isn't Texas one of those that gets back more Fed dollars than they pay in?

And lies on camera that there is no way of knowing where the money is going to go - yet I've seen plenty of info about how the money is divided up.

I am her constituent and I just lost my job. NOT happy with her and her buddy Cornyn playing politics with our lives. Couldn't get through to her on the phone so I had to send an email. I'm hoping she got barraged with calls, faxes and emails today.

Can't stand that woman.

6. Okay, Kay, give back all the funds.
Hey, if KBH wants to live independently, she can be my guest. Have fun in the new unfunded Texas -- large enough for a republic, I guess, and to alter the phrase of yore, too big to be an open-air asylum for the deranged.

8. It's true in one sense... Texas will get less stimulus per capita because our economy's better off.
It's called a stimulus because we need to fix some problems in the economy. You don't give assistance where it isn't needed.

9. Good- no one in other places want to subsidize the sorry state of Texas
and frankly- would prefer that you'd just succeed and be done with it.

17. She is one of the Bush lapdogs....
Edited on Mon Feb-09-09 06:56 PM by Baby Snooks
She and Cornyn are both Bush lapdogs. And continue to be. She is known as Two Hats Hutchison. The other hat is the hat of the V&E wife. She is both senator and lobbyist for what has to be the most corrupt law firm in the country.

http://pwcsucks.com/_wsn/page5.html

Nothing like billing for a telephone conversation with a dead man. And then you have Enron. When Key Lay went to V&E it was not about the concerns of Sherron Watkins. It was about the concerns about Sherron Watkins. V&E responded with a discourse on how to deal with whistleblowers. Mr. Hutchison of course became "of counsel" not long after Enron collapsed. But still rakes in the cash. As does she.

And of course Phil Gramm is one of her supporters in her run for governor of Texas.

Her Democratic opponent in the race in 2006 could have made an issue of the connection, and the corruption, except she was a partner at V&E. Until she challenged Kay Bailout Hutchison.

The real problem was the "Democratic Women for Kay Bailey Hutchison." Who believe she is one of them. Which is a scary thought. Perhaps she is.

And so it goes as Linda Ellerbee would say. Life in Texas. Which is life in a political cesspool. The money trails alone are fascinating. There is no such thing as party loyalty in Texas when it comes to money. Democrats funded by Republicans. And occasionally Republicans funded by Democrats. Sort of equal opportunity corruption I suppose.

Re-read Matthew 25, Kay Bailey. Here you have a chance to help people who are hungry, naked and sick. Are you a good and faithful servant or one of the accursed?
