He's on Rachel Maddow right now claiming that he opposed funding for building schools because he opposed unfunded mandates?! That's the point of giving states money!"

When she questioned him about it, he claimed that if we give the federal government control of school building they'll start controlling what the schools teach and what goes on and if the states don't agree then they'll lose that funding.

Gawd, he's stupid. I suppose he's better than a Republican in there, but, seriously, is Nebraska so wingnutty that it couldn't have a more reliable Democrat.
