Surprised by press conference

Not by President Obama. I expected him to do a great job. But aside from Chuck Todd and the guy who asked about A-Rod, the reporters asked good questions. Anybody else think the press did better than expected?

1. I agree. No gotcha' questions, like tryin' to imply his whole cabinet are tax cheats.

2. That is what happens when the questions are not scripted.

The A-Rod question blew me away. I think the reporter had a flashback to a bu$h press conference or something.

Or, he was trying to eat time that Obama could have used otherwise to discuss his recovery plan.

3. That reporter was the comedy relief.

Only he wasn't funny and I wasn't relieved.

The A-Rod question was the dumbest one, but all the others were legit, IMO.
