Poll question: OK..... Now has the 'NOW' economic analysis changed your thoughts on Capitalism?
I know some of you and I see some that have woken up
to 'thank god it passed' note.

Even those that did agree with that, and are still posting,
I've seen a change.

Some see that this is a dichotomy question, capitalism vs socialism.
Others seek balance between the two.

Have you moved left after the crisis,
stayed the same, but was always left, moved right, or just don't care.

3. From Pinko to "Nuclear Pinko"
I hadn't thought about that since
I thought that it was covered in my poll

I got it from CNN

2. None of the above...
I've always been just to the right of Emma Goldman. I believe strongly in the government's responsibility to take care of the populace and our responsibility as citizens to care for each other through the government. Anything else is just greedy foolishness.

7. I like to point out that capitalism has failed and been religated to the dust bin of history.
But i'm a mixed market guy.

I think we need to socialize everything that's too big to fail.

15. But I really do like the fact that "Shoes for Industry" are entrepreneurial
while at the same time have no problem with socializing a social construct like insurance, especially for something like health or retirement. But I would also go for pay at the pump basic auto liability as well.

We have a single payer socialized retirement insurance system and we need one for the health practices as well, from dentistry to home care and everything in between.

But if you can build a better mouse trap and hospitals need rodent control, then the entrepreneur can make some big bucks making better mouse traps. or coming up with a way to lower the cost of the old ones, etc.

Business is business but somethings ain't business.

It's hard to see how any rational being could disagree with that.

17. It is a happenstance

Condos here are going up for auction
because of the melt down.

They don't sell
being on the market for 9 months

Now they advertise the auctions in front of the condo

we have 5 here doing that..

I will be next.

9. We have a right to food, shelter, health care, security and social services
These should be nonprofit items.

THE JUDGMENT

CONFLICT. You are sincere
And are being obstructed.
A cautious halt halfway brings good fortune.
Going through to the end brings misfortune.
It furthers one to see the great man.
It does not further one to cross the great water.

The bipartisan crap needs to go.

18. As a result of this financial crisis
I've gone from being an extreme liberal to an anarchist. Liberals want to reform capitalism, anarchists want to get rid of it all together and replace it with a system of peer to peer sharing. Sounds good to me right about now.
