"Celebrity" being taken down in car chase in Universal City right now :Update: not a live broadcast

LA stations are showing a what maybe a celebrity in Bentley (White with Illinois plates) surrounded by police in Universal City. He is said to be wanted for assault with a deadly weapon. Most likely domestic violence.

Universal City, California.

UPDATE: North Hollywood Police tells KNBC that the person is not a "hight profile" person. Just someone driving an expensive car.

Not a live broadcast. A tape of earlier news. KNBC had "LIVE" on the whole time and didn't run any tags saying it was on tape.

3. Not a celebrity. Apparently someone distraught over the loss of his business.

From the LA Times:

A businessman of Pakistani origin who led police on a more than three-hour chase in a luxury Bentley sedan shot himself early today after more than a dozen police cruisers surrounded his halted vehicle near Universal City, a source close to the Los Angeles Police Department said.
He was taken to a local hospital, where his condition was considered grave, according to LAPD sources.
"It appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot," said the source, who described the suspect as distraught over the loss of his business.
