I happened to pick up Markos Moulitsas/Daily Kos new book at the library yesterday
"Taking On The System" - "Rules for Radical Change in a Digital Era" --
and as I was leafing thru it -- the last Chapter "Unlikely Warriors" caught my eye ...
and I reminisced with Markos Stephen Colbert's bravery at the White House Correspondents'
Association dinner --
I'll just include the whole Yahoo search page because the Wiki page has links to one of
Bush's aides telling us he was "ready to blow" -- and some other particulars that those
who may not have seen it originally may want to check. For others, there is the
a connection to the video on You Tube --
Given the continuing frustrations and anger with our pretend "free press," remembering
how wonderful this brave act of Colbert was made me feel again that it is comedy which
best overturns the ridiculous. Remember, we need to laugh at these people much more often!
