I'll catch the rerun tonight, but does anyone remember when Ahmed Chalabi was the guest of honor for one of Bush's State of the Whatever Speeches? Got to sit right behind Pickles and get a contact high off the Xanax wafting from her pores. A few months later, Chalabi got into hot water with what then passed for the Iraqi civil authority, who raided his offices and none too gently. Bush was asked about his relationship with Chalabi, and responded "Ahmed who?" There was, of course, no explanation and no follow-up.
