I think it was called SLAVERY.

Later it became the Robber Baron Era.

Then it became known as the Great Depression.

3. yep - and if you look back in history all over the world
that is much more the norm than is anything that resembles freedom for the masses. From 1933 to 1981 we lived in a relatively rare bubble of freedom. Hope you enjoyed it.
