Freepers "Storming Senator Arlen Specter's Office" !!! LOL!

Freepers, other citizens storm Sen. Specter's Office on Porkulus PDF E-mail
Written by Melanie Morgan
Monday, 09 February 2009

Sen. Arlen Specter must feel like one lucky man today. He wasn’t in his Capitol Hill offices when MAF Chairman Melanie Morgan, Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee, Freepers and Free Republic founder Jim Robinson, and other patriotic citizens stormed his office to demand he reverse his position supporting the porkulus bill, aka the Barack-Blowing-Through- Dollars-Scheme.

MAF, as you know, is a protroops organization, and it is our opinion that this legislation will hurt veterans’ healthcare - not to mention every other American.

We’re really in town for our big press conference on Tuesday, when we release our commercial opposing President Obama’s decision to close Gitmo.

But we kept ourselves busy today. Melanie was at her finest, when we arrived at Specter’s office. For those of you who don’t know Specter, he’s a flip-flopping, spineless bureacrat who calls himself a Republican. He’s also one of the traitors who supports Obama’s spendulus bill. This is why he was a target for Monday’s action, spurred by Kirstinn Taylor of Free Republic.

If you can stand the tone, misspellings, etc., more here:

flights and hotel rooms. Wouldn't a reasonable person think to check the senator's schedule before arriving to yell and rant?

Had he been there they wouldn't have been able to whine and piss and moan about his not being there.

Freepers aren't hard to understand. Just figure out what you'd do in a situation. Freepers would do the opposite.

The few that are left don't yet know it though. They're still trapped in the extremely partisan, uncivilized culture that has flourished for the last 20 years or so.

they're totally on board with bankrupting the country with deficit spending, as long as it's for the purpose of occupying foreign countries and killing people.

But not one thin dime for actually building anything here in America, or solving real problems for Americans.

11. This is fucking priceless these fuckers are so damn egotistical and dumb
"Melanie and Jim Robinson asked to see the Senator. Specter’s front-office staff need to go back to kindergarten to get their manners tuned up. either that or they should go to work at Wal-Mart to pick up some tips from their greeters. A secretary, who wasn’t happy to see American patriots, refused to answer where the Senator was hiding. Jim, wearing his Navy cap, asked over and over about the Senator’s whereabouts, but the secretary wasn’t helping. It was distressing to see a Navy veteran being treated with such disrespect by a Senator’s staff."

Like him or not Arlen Specter is a US Senator, you just don't walk into his office and demand his where abouts I don't care what the fuck type of hat you are wearing. You make appointments to speak to Senators...what a bunch of fuckwads. Its a shame the capital police didn't use fucking tasers on these assholes.

Those assholes sound incredibly rude, like little children having temper tantrums, seeking attention that no one is giving them. I just noticed there was an accompanying video, but I don't think I can stand to watch, much less listen to their drivel.

I think they're lucky Spector's staff didn't call security to escort them out by their collective asses.

Compare the video to the "article," which is really just a rant on a web site. It doesn't by any means match what you'll find in the video.

If it wasn't so pathetic, it would be hysterically funny, IMO. At least the mom with the 5 kids with her came off as articulate, not histrionic, like the what's-her-name Melanie.

Why is the councilperson from California there, when she could be taking her venom out on Governor Ahnold?? He's much closer to where she lives, and from what I've seen lately, California ain't doing so well. He's a Republican, like Senator Spector.

What I don't understand is where were these folks for the eight years prior to President Obama, and what were they doing? (Silly question, I know. Guess they were busy just drinking the koolaid and keeping their heads up their asses).

46. Scratch the last part of my last message. From Robinson himself:
To: kristinn; All

Great report, Krisinn! We had a great time today. Melanie was magnificent! In fact all of the FReepers and folks from Move America Forward were great!! Some very passionate and articulate arguments were advanced. Unfortunately we did not get to speak directly to the Senators but we did get to speak to their staffs and in a couple cases their chief of staff. And the phones were ringing non-stop the whole time we were there. Their staffers admitted that the vast majority of the callers are opposed to the Porkulus bill. You could hope that the senators would get the message.

Keep those calls and letters going, folks! They’ll never get the message if we don’t give it them! With all barrels!!

44. At The Time She Was Working For ABC/Disney...
She did a venomous talk show out of San Francisco. One of her stunts was to go after Cindy Sheehan with her "Cindy Doesn't Speak for me" bullshit. That's what got her onto the producers radar and onto Hardball. She kept making an ass out of herself, and I think at first, Tweety found it amusing, but she got more bombastic over time and uninvited herself.

To add "insult" the station she was on in San Francisco was sold to an inept company, Citadel, that in a move that resembles euthanisia, fired her about 6 months ago. She's been "on the beach" ever since.

In many cases these harpies come right out of PR agencies and right wing "camps" that were set up to "develop" these people...hate radio, print and the like. They were highly efficient at getting their people on the air in many markets. Seems like there's a Melanie Morgan in every town these days.

Cheers...

In 2005 at Camp Casey in Crawford, Melanie showed up with a bus full of crazy people who had come all the way from California.

The bus pulled up and parked across the road from where Cindy Sheehan was having a prayer vigil. Lots of media was there.
So Melanie and her little twisted group of numb nuts got off the bus and chanted "We don't care. We don't care."

Then they got back on the bus, it turned around and went back the way it had come in. We never saw the bus or Melanie and her group again.

Too too funny. Even the CNN camera guy was laughing.

32. Just wondering... why do they think the bill will "hurt veterans' healthcare?"
Is there some evil Demoncrat provision in it to cut spending on health care for veterans, just for the hell of it?
I'd think it a hell of a lot more likely that there are increases in the legislation for that purpose, not less.
