ACTION ALERT !!!!
Take a look at this site, they're having a contest to make an anti-union commercial to be run on national TV. Then check out their home page. I'm sure these guys are tied to the republican party & will be running the ads around election time. I'd like to figure out who owns this site. Any ideas how we can counter them???
I got this info from lurking on my favorite assault rifle forum. It's a great way to see what they're up to. And they make it so damn easy!!!!!
If they run this commercial during the elections, they have to be a registered PAC (Political Action Committee) and have to list names of donors and the amounts donated. Just might be the start of a good boycott and hate mail list. If anybody knows how to research the ownership of this site, let us know

3. Thanks!
That's some good information to have. It doesn't look like they are a PAC. If anybody has any idea what can be done with this info. Speak up! Thanks again

4. "undisclosed corporate interests"
Edited on Mon Mar-26-07 02:20 AM by Cerridwen
an anti-union
group backed by undisclosed corporate interests which has undertaken a
powerful multi-year, multimillion-dollar push to discredit organized
labor. James Bowers, a creative director at CUF's firm Berman &
Company, is responsible for the group's public campaigns, which center
around an extensive Web site supported by advertising campaigns and
national media coverage.

Union Facts is headed by Richard Berman, a former lobbyist for the food,
alcohol and tobacco industries who runs several other advocacy groups,
including the Center for Consumer Freedom and the Employment Policies
Institute. He also is general counsel of the American Beverage Institute.
Through those groups, Mr. Berman has helped design several similar
advocacy-ad campaigns, including efforts critical of animal-rights activists
and Greenpeace.
