Obama's Republican Pick for Transportation Secretary

Is the go to guy that Faux talks to. He's does a good job
promoting Obama's plans for transportation and shovel ready jobs.

The first time I saw him I said.....mmm he looks like a republican
and forgot about that pick. He does a good job defending our administration
with faux.

1. Ray LaHood stopped drinking the Bushie Kool Aide years ago and is a good ally of Barack's
He also knows that if he isn't a good advocate, then he's O-U-T. Ditto for Gates at Defense and Gregg at Commerce,
although the latter is a relatively unimportant Cabinet post.

2. Glad to hear that....
I've been pleasantly surprised with him as 'the go to guy' on faux.
Never knew that much about him. It seems he likes his new job
and wants to keep it. Faux always point out that he is a republican.

4. Team O was smart to get Republicans with solid creds to be in his Cabinet because they help...
... as you've noticed. They also happen to get along with Barack, which is a huge plus in getting things accomplished
the way Team O wants it done.
