Are peanuts still deadly poison?

I just ate 15 nutter butters and then remembered the whole peanut thing. Am I gonna die?

You could have a real issue if you ate too many brazil nuts with cracked shells though.

3. The name brand peanut butters like Skippy and JIF are safe to eat, because they weren't

made at that Georgia plant or by Peanut Co. of America.

Skippy is made in Alameda, CA by the Rosefield Packing Co.

JIF is a Smucker's brand (purchased from Proctor & Gamble) and made in Lexington, KY.

However, ALL peanut products have suffered because people boycotted everything peanut related in an effort to be fully safe and sure.

The interesting thing is that a few weeks ago, I consumed two whole bags of raw peanuts (not even roasted) purchased from an Oriental food store. The peanuts were consumed over several days. They were imported from China. I didn't get sick at all after eating them. Ironic that peanuts from China would be safer than most American peanut products in this instance.
