he was trying to say what obama is trying to do is what hoover did. then he went on about how tax cuts are the only way to turn things around. the signal was lost (thank god) but I almost hurled something at the TV!! wtf! Hoover was the guy that didn't do anything. he decided it was time to balance the budget. sounds like what the republicans are doing, not OBAMA!!

Damn. I knew MacArthur had betrayed his own by attacking the bonus army but I didn't know that about Ike. Damn.
Smedley Butler, if I recall correctly, refused.

Check out the book "Bonus Army", excellent read.
There were plenty of asshole all around that took a giant dump on our vets.
