I messed up that OP.
Is it possible that by not voting he was unpalatable to Dems. He should never have been nominated in the first place.

9. No, because were he to have been confirmed, he wouldn't have |
|
gotten a chance to vote anyway. I think the rethugs got to him.

Clearly, Obama is willing to surround himself with people of differing opinions in some positions, but not key positions.
Two thumbs for Obama.

and the regular Rushican says Gregg did not like the idea of the census chief reporting to the WH. Fugg him.
Gregg press conference coming up. I disagree with Tweety - this is not about philosophy because Gregg must have known the philosophical differences before he accepted the nomination.
Did I say fugg him. Adios.

19. He knows it won't work instantly. |
|
He said as much at his news conference Monday night.
The Prez will keep plugging, keep looking good and the pubs will keep looking like arrogant two-year-olds.
The Pubs will either come along with him on some things or they will disappear.
It's way too early to write off his approach.

6. He didn't vote, and it still would have made no difference. |
|
Perhaps they are looking at his Senate seat, and they are making sure he keeps it Republican in 2010.
