single people will see a tax break of only $300 a year or approx $13 a week. Wow!!! What on earth will I do with that windfall? When the rich get a tax break it's something they really notice.

It's a throwin. Don't you understand how tax code works? The main thing is bracket, then you get credits for certain things, like being single or being married.

4. As much as I agree with you

and think that I would rather have no tax break at all and be able to fund more jobs, etc., I doubt this is the point of view that's being expressed. I think when people see that the rich can buy their OWN library or firehouse with THEIR tax break, that causes the anger.
