When can we expect Obama say:
"We have tried to be open and bipartisan from the get go. We have extended an open hand to those who so recently had waged a hard campaign against us. In a good faith effort at bipartisanship we evendownplayed the malfeasance and actual crimes by the Bush Administration. Except for three members of the Senate who helped with the stimulus legislation, we have been met with closed minds, clenched fists, and open calls for the failure of this Administration.

America has serious problems, and now is the time for serious solutions. We seek to nurture those solutions from whatever source they are sown. However, it has become very apparent that, for the most part, the Republican Party has no intention of working toward those solutions, but only to malign and obfuscate, and to fan the flames of discord.

We do not back away from our resolve to come to bipartisan consensus, however, from this point forward, it shall be the policy of this Administration to move forward toward with constructive and creative solutions for our mounting problems with or without the help of members of the opposite party. We continue to welcome constructive input and assistance from that group, but we will not ddally or delay progress to curry favor from those politicians who have shown only closed minds and adherance to policies that have created the problems we need to solve."

......

excuse me, I got carried away

1. Voters already said 'fuck the Republicans' - why can't Obama?
The voters never expected or wanted 'bipartisanship' with the Republicans.

Voters went for Obama for the reason you state:

America has serious problems, and now is the time for serious solutions

Why are the Democrats trying to breathe life into a dead party?

2. Because he is the President of every American.
We need to encourage our D Congress peoples to ignore petty crap from the R obfuscators and to put pressure on our R obfuscators Congress peoples to stop R obfuscating.

Plus, we cannot allow any more Rs to be elected.

At any level of government.
