Maybe it's time for a Department of Hole Digging

When 800 people show up for a single job offer, that should be a clue that the government needs to come in and offer people jobs. Should we have to wait for the supposed 'trickle down' of trickle down economics to reach us? No! Should we have wait for the top 1% to take their profits out of their offshore tax shelters? No! If the government offered basic infrastructure repair jobs, it can be a sure bet that unemployment will go down and revenues will go up, not to mention, the state of our infrastructure is ghastly.

So, I suggest, maybe it is time to pay people to dig holes and fill them in again, not necessarily like that, but you get the drift.
