I can't now even imagine anyone I would rather have leading the country than Obama.

It happened to me, too. Obama wasn't my first choice, but now I can't think of anyone else that I'd rather have in this situation.

Edwards was surging above 20% in some states when he dropped out. I want to believe Obama will be a great President when this is all said and done - he is a great speaker when he gets fired up, just hope he's able to get others to believe.

I do believe Edwards had a more progressive platform, and has rejected centrism and the DLC, while Obama is willing to listen to them on some things. However, I dont believe Edwards would have inspired what we saw during the campaign and on inauguation day.

... and this is one of those times.

I first got on the Edwards wavelength when he spoke of "two Americas", because he had the right of it. There are two. One for the rich people, and the other one we get to live in.

But I got in line behind Obama eventually. He's an inspiring man who has a big job ahead of him and he sees there are more people in America that matter that are not incredibly rich and greedy.

We got it, and we got it good.

14. Had Edwards not been in the race, Hillary would have won some of those earlier states

and probably would have won the primary, and we'd have John McCain in office today (because he wouldn't have chosen the idiot Palin, and because she's the type who would have run to DC after him, "suspending her campaign" too, since that DLC crowd always seems to take the bait. I don't think she could have played McCain as brilliantly as Obama did.

And I'm very grateful for Edwards' vocal anti-poverty, pro-working class message, which helped shape the debate (of the ones that the mainstream media was willing to cover).

I can't understand how Edwards has been "disappeared." It's spooky. He's written out of most media "histories" of the past election.
