I knew the airline CEO in college- he was a creepy then
Edited on Fri Feb-13-09 10:05 AM by cpamomfromtexas
I see he's still a creep now. He was out of school and still hung around college kids. Even though I was part of the flying club, I kept my distance.

The starting salary for the pilots at his airline is around $400 a week. Would you like fries with that?

Contrast this with Sully's skill-there was nothing random about Sully's skill.

(Edited for grammar)

1. Years ago,
before Texas Air took over Continental Air Lines, I was married to Continental's CEO. He was the first CEO of an American airline to hire a woman pilot. That's how long ago it was!

It was a gorgeous airline before Lorenzo got his hands on it. That man despoiled everything he touched.

6. Good to know history, I hear AA Arpey's dad was Lorenzo's right hand man
Certainly explains what's going on at AA now. I guess he learned from the best.

2. Are you talking about Larry Kellner or someone else?
And yea, I'm sure the CEO caused this accident. On a reality scale of 1-10, where are you?

7. Bwhahahaha! You go from 'someone I went to college with' to 'I've been
notified'? Get lost; your level of importance in your own mind is laughable.

Stop disparaging people during a tragedy, likely caused by weather, not a CEO. Ugh.

bizarre. Blaming a CEO this dud went to college with, and now the dud has been notified?

This is a tragedy, not an opportunity to puff up one's supposed self-importance. I'm done, disgustedly.

But :hi:, friend, long time no see!

but that still doesn't make Kellner the CEO of Colgan. :eyes:

14. I understand what you're saying, but ...
... some corporate bosses (like the Peanut Corporation of America's owner/president, Stewart Parnell) can have a negative effect on the companies they run if not directly, then through neglect.
