Who would you like to see Obama appoint Commerce & HHS Secretaries?
Commerce: Robert Reich

HHS: Dr. Howard Dean

If Obama insists on having a third republican in his cabinet, how about somebody who is moderate and actually endorsed him in 2008? like former congressman Jim Leach of Iowa?

1. I like your idea for a true moderate Republican
Each R we can turn against the maniacs is a good thing, imho. I wonder what Lincoln Chafee is doing.

As to HHS -- Howard Dean, Howard Dean, Howard Dean.

4. I still do not get the point of appointing a republican at all.
Elections have consequences!

5. Kitzhaber would be a great choice for HHS but, he's probably "too liberal".

8. Reich & Dean would work for me
Though I still say Reich should have been at Treasury in the first place.

9. Gov. Howard Dean for HHS -- no Republicans should be appointed . . .
There is no such thing as a "moderate Republican" . . . !!!

10. Not bad picks for either.
I don't care much about Commerce - as I said when Gregg was picked, it's not that important. Dean would be great as HHS, as would Sebelius or Granholm.
