Question for FOX News watchers and RightWing radio listeners:
Are these outlets covering the "surge" dissent from Hagel, Pataki and other Republicans?

Are they trying to totally ignore it and pretend it isn't happening?

If they are covering it, what's the slant? "Traitors off with their heads?" Or something else?

1. OMG -- the few times I've listened to RW radio, they're on Hagel's case
He's a traitor, what is he trying to do, endanger our troops? Encouraging their listeners to call their Senators and Reps to encourage them not to vote for any resolution. I've even heard military family members calling in saying that anyone who votes for the resolution is guilty of treason. It's like bizarro-world, an alternate reality over there ...

2. Hagel should rip Limbaugh's head off just for kicks.
Imagine that fat coward badmouthing a decorated veteran.

3. Don't watch Fox, or listen to RW radio, but
I do peruse the RW websites every day to see what's going on in their echo chamber. They call Hagel names....but, they always have. He is disloyal, traitorous, etc...just what you'd expect. One site said Hagel might be looking to start his own political party. Said he is the darling of the liberals now, but actually Hagel is very conservative on right-to-choose and on traditional marriage, all the social issues.

4. Hotline had this today about Hagel:
Is Hagel Flirting With Unity?

In Shailagh Murray’s front-page Washington Post profile of Chuck Hagel today, the Nebraska senator mentions the possibility that he’ll join a “unity ticket” with a Democratic running mate. Murray doesn’t say so, but Hagel isn’t just musing--he has a specific outfit in mind. That outfit is Unity08, an internet-based third-party recently founded by veterans of the Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford administrations that’s designed to bring about the kind of bipartisanship that continues to elude Washington. The current issue of The Atlantic features Joshua Green’s profile of the Unity08 founders and explains why Hagel’s third-party flirtation isn’t (quite) as farfetched as it initially might seem.
