Hilarious Congressional Kabuki

Act I: Congress fashions legislation which allows banks to steal almost a trillion dollars, with absolutely no (or little) conditions

Act II: Bankers take the money, buy golden urinals, smoke $100 bills

Act III: Congress calls the bankers in, yells at them for the cameras, can't understand why bankers didn't do the right thing

Act IV: Banking system collapses

Act V: No one can understand what happened, bankers fly away on silvery wings to enjoy our money



It's a great show. One thing I might suggest is that you LEGISLATE what you want the banks to do, or simply take them over. That way, you see, you get the actual results. If you just give them the money and don't MAKE them do A B and C with it, they won't. ASKING them is not a strategy, especially AFTER they have the money.

No one can be this stupid. Congress isn't full of idiots, it is full of collaborators.
