Republicans complained that the Stimulus Bill did not adequately spell out how the money would be spent. And when it is, it's pork.

1. Yes, this baffles me too. Even otherwise intelligent people like George Noory seem to be
falling for this talking point, and it is enraging, and wrong.

How is that even though we are control now, and President Obama has the support of the entire country (and the world, for that matter) behind him, we still have to struggle to even implement the very programs he promised us he would implement?

Also, people are just stupid. How could anyone have watched Geitner's testimony, or read even a few thorough articles about the stimulus package, and yet in spite of that maintain that this is "more of the same," or "just like TARP."

I can't tell if it's ignorance or cunning.

2. It is because Democrats have not yet mastered political language
Or we just don't think its necessary to say what should be obvious to everyone. We simply fail to point out things we should.

3. Say, how much money did we piss away in that
Iraq war thing that's actually still going on? What was the benefit of that whole endeavor anyway, I forget? Oh and how many trillions of $$$$$ did we give the banking and credit usurers in the last few months? Does that qualify as pork or is that just stupidly pissing money into a giant hole in the ground so a bunch of executive types can keep living like fucking kings? And one last thing is there an absolute bottom to republican stupidity, you know, a point at which if one were to become any stupider they would turn into a hammer or a doorknob or a rock possibly?
